BREAKING NEWS!

This is probably not the news we were all hoping to hear, especially so close to the end of the month, but the hard decision has been made to delay Office Worker until mid-May. 😥

We’re almost done: all of the dialogue has been recorded, and the character models and backgrounds are completed. However, we need a bit more time with the animation to make it perfect, and the soundtrack still needs to be finalized. 🎸

I know this is disappointing news for some, we really didn’t want to have to delay this, especially since we haven’t had a Dennis episode since last year. But we at Smokey Joe Toons are passionate about making our cartoons the best they can be. I especially don’t want this cartoon to feel rushed, given that it’s been in on-and-off development since January. 😴

This is our most ambitious short to date. It’s twice the length of Job Seeking and Old Grump, with far more story elements and new characters to flesh out. We’ve brought on a whole cast who truly bring these new characters to life, and I want to give their introductions the proper justice they deserve. With just a bit more time on animation, we can deliver the short you all deserve. I know delays are disheartening, but we believe our fans deserve the best, and I’m sure you all understand. 😮

On the bright side, since we’ve made the tough call to delay this short by almost a month, we’ve decided that instead of releasing an uncensored version behind a Patreon paywall (with a censored version on YouTube and Newgrounds), Office Worker will be fully uncensored for everyone upon release. We feel we owe it to our loyal fans for sticking with us over the past year. You’ll get to see all the naughtiness completely unfiltered, and with this cartoon already pushing the boundaries of mature content, this is just the icing on the cake. 😂
